Atlantic Club is the first
name under which I know this pub. I have a special relation to the Atlantic
Club because I lived my first 14 years in an appartment above it. My grandfather
was the owner of the building, since the end of the 80's my fahter is the
owner.
When I went to bed when
I was young I heard the music of the juke-box and sometimes some
guys shouting or singing. And I got to know my favorite band on
this way: Queen. I remember the juke-box playing "Anotherone bites
the dust" many times a night at the end of the 70's! And I loved
it!
After a renovation
at the end of the 80's the Atlantic was known as "Musikpub Claude".
Some years later (I think at the beginning of the 90's, sometimes
around the closure of the hab) it was "Atlantic Club" again but
only for 1 or 2 years. Then it became the "Musikkneipe Brezel".
After about 2 years it was closed again for more than 2 years.
From spring 1998 to
spring 2005 the "Atlantic Club" was open as "Cheyenne Railstation"
playing Country-songs and Oldies.
The "Atlantic Club"
in 2005:
Today, the Atlantic
Club is reopened as 'Luckie Luke' in a typical Saloon style.
They play a lot of live music. So, if you are around, drop in!!!
The
